Both practical and theory courses have been available. However, due to some medical issues the availability of courses will be scaled back in 2024.
Practical sessions will be available between April and September 2024. They are adapted to suit individual needs, according to experience, whether an absolute beginner, novice or experienced beekeeper level. The sessions are intended for up to 3 people. Sessions are likely to be on Fridays or Saturdays and will be in the Penzance area. Standard 2 hour sessions are charged at £40 per person and include the provision of protective equipment. Visits to customers apiaries can also be arranged. Visits are charged at £35 per hour plus mileage.
